Will a Skirmish or Maxx disappoint me?

I am very happy with my Maxx and it's a keeper.I just picked up a Mini Skirmish in a trade and it's a sweet knife.First time I handled one.The handle seems to be a little small for my hand,I might try trading it for a full size Skirmish.

There is just something with the details on the Skirmish that make it look fruity to me.

Might be the fruity pebbles that are glued onto the handle...

i've never handled a MAXX, but I can say without a doubt that the Skirmish is rock-solid (even compared to a Sebenza).

I do prefer Fruitty Pebbles to Coco Pebbles myself.

I've got the 630 501 LE, it is definately not the 'bling-bling' knife of gold that it was first thought to be. It really is more of an olive drab handle w/black blade. The accent holes are gold but not to the point of being fruity.
