Will any knife mags publish poetry or fiction?

I'm writing poetry for a class this semester and I'm just starting to get to the point where the teacher thinks my stuff is good enough to publish (maybe!) Anyway, oddly enough, it seems that all my good poetry revolves around knives, bladesmiths, hoplophobes, blah blah blah. Most of the calls from publishers are for stories exploring the angst of middle-aged women in bad marriages and such. I know some of my fellow knuts here are associated with knife rags, and that a lot of you read them a lot more often than I do. Are there any knife mags you think would be likely to publish poetry or short stories with heavy knife content? There are two examples of my poetry, "Song of the Bladesmith" and "Hoplophobe," in the Community forum if anybody is curious. Thanks!

Most knife mags with very few exceptions, only publish articles about knives by makers and companies that advertise with them. A good reason not to take what you read in the rags as gospel. But they will also publish things if interest to the readers. I'd say you'd have a much better shot at being published than a knifemaker that doesn't buy ad space.

I guess I'll start making more direct inquiries. The reason I ask is that I'd like to have a good idea of whether they would ever publish such material before I submit it. My teacher has informed us that writers can't submit a work to more than one place until the first place you submit it has definitely rejected it, so I'm eager to send them to places with the best chance of publishing. Thanks.

I think I have read a fictional piece or two in the review section of more than one knife magazine
