Forgive me if this is a crazy question but I have never been and wondered if anyone would be selling knife metal at the show? I figured some of you seasoned guys could help me out, Thanks very much,Charlie:thumbup:

Well, I wasnt... Then tonight my wife says, I wanna go look at some expensive knives!, I thought" Where the hell did that come from?", so I guess Saturdays gonna be a road trip. I didnt know if it would be like Batson's with people selling knife making stuff, I hope to find some 1095 or anything alittle thicker than I have now, Ride with us WILL, If you dont have anything to do. Give me a call, we got plenty of room, were gonna come back that afternoon.

I'll see if the wife will allow it..... If I come I'll be asleep during the ride... I get off of work about 2am :p

Great! I'll keep an eye out for a tired looking squinty eyed redneck! I'll say hi if I see ya....

The careful application of an energy drink and coffee usually perks me right up.... being at blade also should. Also need to make sure my knee is up to it or you can add cane toting to the tired looking and squinty eyed redneck.

i know Ray kirk was talking about bringing some... flattened 52100 bars. If he had the time to get some rolled out. Check him out

Hey Charlie,

If you want thicker 1095 you need to find Aldo. Hopefully he will have some of the 3/8" 1095 he's had for awhile that you could get from him. :) CALLING ALDO!!:p

Don't forget... you need a green card to cross the Georgia line.

If you have never been to Blade you will see so many knives that things will become a blurr. Don't forget to check out some of the demonstrations. Usually the cutting competition is entertaining for first timers.

See you there maybe.
