To a question I was asked privately - Is this a user or a safe queen?

I replied ~

It has a full tang, great steel, solid and well pinned stabilized wood handle. Jeff is a respected knife maker from Arizona. His knives are solid. As he said, he just pulled all the stops using his skills when he built this knife. He call it a guarded hunter knowing that it could do that job beautifully.

It is not an ART knife. I didn't intend to keep it so precious but I have other knives already dirty and so I've always hesitated to use it. If it was my only knife I would use the heck out of it and pass it down to future generations. It's good for it!

Mid week - worth another look. This is not one of Jeff Baker's standard issue - unique and capable.

Why own an ugly knife when this beauty is an option?
