Will Beckers ever have different colors of coatings?

i think any of you guys that buys a Becker voids the warranty as soon as you hold it :)

Camillus made tan blades by spray painting them. handles included. not even the good stuff. it comes right off.

Send them to the fine man at Up-Armored Coatings. Not cheap but a great job. I am not into skulls, but the digi-pat & snakeskin patterns ROCK ! I use all my knives, so i may experiment with some coatings/paint down the road. Probably leave the factory coating on though & just go over it, when it wears off, do something different.

krylon, not as good as the factory coating

Shoulda used Rustoleum. ;)

Bear in mind the premise behind BKT, best knife, for the best price.

Basically, the Black on Black BKT's that we have all grown to love, is a product meant to come in at the lowest possible bottom line. Once you start making lots of options available, then the price starts going up.

Kabar makes knives in large quantity, when I say large, I mean in the thousands, at a time. Once you figure the additional cost of changing paint for a few knives here and there, well, the cost starts going up.

I wouldn't expect to ever get a BKT in any color other than Black, from Kabar.
