Will Benchmade ever give up on assisted axis locks?

Absolutely love their assisted opening knives like the Emissary and barrage which open faster than any auto.I guess I'm lazy in some way and like my assisted knives because of the feature and safety. But I don't like any of the others with the flipper assist.

Whenever i see "assist" on any new Benchmade knife being released i close the window and move on. Also, i prefer not to have my blades flying open with an assist "wow cool" factor at one speed only, smashing into the stop pin causing huge flat spots on it. Weird how Benchmade can't add a rounded contact section on any of their blades to contact the rounded stop pin, always hated that they made flat blade tang sections whack into round stop pins. Almost every other company seem to do it right. How about a bit of CQI Benchmade?
