Will Benchmade ever update the Griptilian line???

A bunch of people just got their wish. Mini and Ritter grips in M390 now available!

Yup, best news all year. I got mine! :D

I recently acquired a Ritter with some G-10 Wilkins and quite frankly I'm just as happy with the standard version. I just love the light weight!

A lot of people say that the Griptilian is a 'lower end Benchmade". I strongly, STRONGLY, disasgree with that. Although you could call it an entry-level, or gateway Benchmade, it is still a fantastic knife, at a fantastic price, with fantastic options (colors, materials, finishes, sizes, blades, etc). Everyone hates on the Noryl GTX/Grivory scales, when they're pretty damn strong. You'd have to run over them with a car to break them. I've broken a few car windows with the butt of my griptilian, and I do not see any signs from doing that, but I have seen signs on G10 from busting out one window, and that's with a carbide tip...
I think there's plenty of upgrades available.
I wouldn't change it since it's so iconic. I wouldn't even mill out the liners- they're already partial on the full size, and the knife is lightweight as it is. If you're that big of a snob regarding the weight of your knife, mill out your own damn liners :)
