**Will Buck come out with any new folders that are like the Buck Strider?

The Buck Strider folder is very different from the other Buck folders since it was designed by Strider. Is there any plans to produce other folders that are similar to the Strider?
 
Yes there is, Joe showed me at the Cincinnati NKCA show a proto he was carrying of a smaller version of the Strider with a spearpoint blade if I remember correctly.

One main difference was the liner on the clip side has a large whole drilled through it under the clip area to allow the clip screws to screw all the way through the clip inserts to allow for a more sucure hold.

Myself, Id still rather see the liner drilled and tapped for all three screws.

On the proto the liners were VERY thin, but was told that the regular production ones should have the same thickness as what's used now...Which will make this a VERY thick small knife!

Other news was that the current screws for the Strider clip have been changed to a slightly longer one to also allow for a better hold.

In the works now are a smaller spear point and tanto point folder. We also have some fixed bladed knives on the drawing board.

I am disappointed to hear about a smaller folder. I have big hands and prefer a bigger folder than the current buck strider. Any plans on a bigger folder?

Joe,
Are there any plans to come out with different blade styles for the Buck Strider?(not a smaller model) I like the size of the Buck Strider but I really dont like the Tanto blade.

Yes, there are plans to make the current Strider/Buck with a diferent style blade. Not sure when it is supposed to be introduced although i would imagine that it is going to be the beginning of next year.
