I am a few days late in making this post.
I bought a Camillus Talon from 1SKS and was able to pick up my order directly from Mike at the Blade Show. It is a great knife and Mike Tuber is a good man to do business with, but you already know that.
The kydex sheath was loose and I feared that the knife would fall out. So while I was wandering around the Blade Show I stopped by and asked the Camillus guys how I could tighten up the sheath. I am not sure who those guys thought I was or if someone had told them that I was from "Dateline" with a hidden camera, but I haven't seen a group of guys move so quickly. I was escorted immediately to the Blade-Tech booth which was covered up with folks. The Blade-Tech Rep took the sheath along with my name & address and told me he would have a new sheath in the mail next week. Sorry, but they moved too fast to remember any names. I do remember Camillus and Blade-Tech and how well I was treated by both.
A couple of weeks rocked along and no sheath. Being that I was able to also obtain one of Rob's Chetans at the Blade Show I was giving the Talon to my son. I had promised him a knife from the show and I kind of needed to sheath to make good on my promise. I fully understood how busy the Blade-Tech guys are.
Being a member on this forum I knew how to get in touch with Camillus and I dropped Mr. Fennell an e-mail. I got a response that ranks in the "real-darn-fast" category. Will Fennell called me and let me know the replacement sheath was already in the air. Then we talked knives for a bit. It wasn't long before the sheath arrived and fit the knife perfectly.
I am not a knife dealer or a maker. I am one of those "buyer user gotta-to-have-more-er" type guys. So anybody else owning or considering something from the Camillus line, you can feel good about the customer service and support behind your purchase.
I may not of had much time lately to post this in a more timely manner, but I did stop long enough to order another Camillus product from 1SKS.
Thank you Will Fennel and Camillus.
