I am fairly new to Spyderco scene and have a small collection of 6 Spydercos. I recently got a Mini Manix and was wondering will their value increase now they are discontinued? I like the quality feel of the Mini Manix but was suprised by its size so think I will probably sell it. Is it worth hanging onto as a collectors item that will increase in value over time or are they too common?

Thanks

price will increase somewhat though they are fairly common, they were very popular and will continue to be after discontinuation......you won't have a problem getting rid of it anytime

I agree no more than 110$ NIB IMO.......... Theres a ton of em for sure..
Thanks

They will go for more than that NIB, but it will likely take a couple of years at least. Historically, quality knives such as this, eventually reach roughly MSRP, more if it is rare and/or very popular and less if it is a dog in the looks department.

Future value probably depends on edge type. Plain edge versions of most discontinued Spydercos tend to go for more.
