I rehandled an ArcLight with Blue g10, it came out great. :) What the question is, what do u use for the kydex sheath for the eyelets? I have eyelets, but the back end always smooshes out like a star pattern. Am I doing something wrong or is there a diff type of eyelet??

Sorry Taz,
I'm not Will but I think your using a different eyelet.
I have the type you describe and am interested in getting that other type. That starburst effect just doesn't give me much in the way of confidence, but actually I've not had one fail yet on kydex sheaths. Still....

Yah, that star pattern just doesnt look right. And the black paint flakes off, and it looks odd.

Hey Taz....

If you like I can build you a custom rig for your Arc...

Drop me a note if you are interested....

Thanks for the offer, but i am looking for a better quality eyelet or grommet to use. I can mold kydex much better now that i got some of the stuff you are supposed to use, but the eyelets on the back smoosh out and can pull hair :(

Go to blade tech's site and look atht eyelets.
Also it is your best bet to buy the dies to put the rivets in . These dies are made to curl the excess and make a lip instaed of a split star.
They are expensive but worth every penny.
They also offer a machine to put the rivets in with.
