Will the tachyon....

Don't wait. Mine arrived. It is definitely a step up in the quality of balisongs. Mike and MT have set a new standard. My BM43 or Red SWAT do not match the fit and finish of the Tacyhon. I am new to balisongs, but I know what a quality knife feels like in my hand.
Or you could wait and get the satin one when it is released for more $. MT does things that way. ;)

right now the cheapest place to get it is 888knivesrus.com but wowinc.com would be faster.

That date for the price increase affect the single edge Tachyon's for now. Mike has graciously given us a 3 month extension for the Nemesis blades. Mike should be done with the SW bladed ones, so that means the dealers should start getting the SW bladed ones soon. You'll need to wait for Mike to fulfill his 2-tone orders before the dealers will see them.
 
Wowinc.com to be faster?!?! Hell Mike said mine was to arrive at my door last Tuesday. AND I'M STILL WAITING!!! I left him messages to call me back at toll free number, and no reponse:(
 
I have shipped nearly all SW blades. If you have not received yours it is for one of several reasons.
  • We did not recieve payment
  • Card was declined
  • You wanted your order shipped to a PO box
  • You ordered at the blade show and gave us no phone # or CC#
  • You ordered a black blade
  • Your address changed since you ordered
  • We screwed up
It must be one of the above :)

Not trying to make light of a subject here. I have been extemely busy in the last 20 days pumping these things out. I receive about 100 calls a day and it is nearly impossible to answer them all when I also get over 100 emails. I am trying and I will get better.

Now for the price. Tony raised my price by $32 from what I was hoping to pay for these. So I have a plan that will make everyone happy, eventually.

Here is the plan.

The Ti version Tachyon will have to go up. The suggested retail will be $249.99 and that WILL be the price if you order from us directly. Dealers will be able to sell them at what ever price they want and this means you may still find them for $199.99. I don;t want to compete with my own dealers and the easiest way to get the price up is for me to raise the MSRP.

The great news is I am working on a new version that will be cheaper but the quality will remain the same. Materials will change but it will still be what I consider to be the best butterfly made.

Well, you screwed up. You have my $, same address, sw blade, and you took my order over the phone, and yes my c.c was debited the funds.

  1. how much cheaper will it be? (proximately msrp...) and WHY are you increasing it?
  2. do you think the msrp will go back down sometime?
  3. can you be more specific in the material change? i'd like to know what new material we might expect. :)

Mike, my address changed on my SW order (Order #: 276332421192, Time and Date: 21:43 6-21-101). I sent e-mail notification of my address change on August 15th and again on August 20th. I received a reply on Tue Aug 21 14:20:00 2001 from "WOW-Distribtuion" (that's how it was spelled :) ), info@wowinc.com, saying "Got it :)".

"WILD DISTRIBUTION" billed my card on Oct 31, 2001.

Can you check and LMK when I should expect to receive mine?
