Assuming the won't be a satin version, how much work would it take to strip one and put a satin finish on it? IIRC, SR-101 does not have the same dimpling underneath the coating as INFI. Really, won't it just take a little "elbow grease" to get a satin finish?
Just takes a few minutes
I've stripped a few Rats. The SR101 wasn't difficult to get a nice finish on - easier than INFI and no dimples!
Use a chemical stripper for the coating, fine sandpaper for hand paper, and rubbing compound for buff. It looks pretty good actually.
Thats funny my Bandicoot had dimples but has a black res-c grip I never got it where I wanted it as it was a user but def has dimples under the coating. Was a PAIN to get any kind of finish on at all.
