just what the thread title is asking......

right now, there are certain models of busses that are really easy to find.....these blades have enjoyed many production runs, and for lack of a better phrase, have flooded the market.....

these blades can still be sold for what they were originally bought for, but appreciation of value has been rather small....relative to some more limited production models, the resale value of these high production models have diminished.....

some of these high production blades would be the game warden, CGASH, FFBM, BATAC, culty, BAD, meaners, AD, and a few i'm forgetting......

you can still get your money back from resale, but especially in today's economy, making a profit is very hard to do.......

don't get me wrong, i am not a flipper.......and please let me state that there is nothing wrong with flipping......although i am not a huge fan of of the practice of flipping......however the term, "what the market will bear", comes to mind.....

personally, i have yet to sell a busse that i bought.....all the busses that i bought are still in my collection, and i have no intention of selling them.....profits be damned......the only busses i got rid of were traded off for more busses!!!

i just don't like the fact that people miss out on knives that they really want to keep and use, because some people buy 10 at a time just to make a profit on the secondary market.......they have no intention of keeping or using the 10 knives they purchase.......their sole intention is to gouge people on the secondary market....but, i guess it is a free market, and like i said earlier, "what the market will bear".......but i am getting sidetracked here.....sorry for the rant.....

anyways, back on topic........i was just wondering if there will be anymore production runs of the CGNMFBM.....

i recall jerry stating that the NMFBMLE will no longer be produced, but what about the CG models????

will the CGNMFBM enjoy a bump in value because of their scarcity, or will they go the way of the ASH and GW because of high production totals????

did jerry ever explicitly state that the CGNMFBM would no longer be introduced to the market via a regular production run???

i understand there can be customs made for shows and ganza and special orders, but will the CGNMFBM ever be reintroduced as a regular busse combat or company store offering????

any info on this matter would be greatly appreciated.....

No info, just opinion. We've had our chance to score the NMFBM from the comfort of our chairs at the Company site. I suspect that now we'd need to get to a show and, if they were available, we'd probably find them in such coating colors as Bama Clay and Moss. Jerry does his thing and moves on. Pete

from the man himself:

The NMFBM is a very Special Edition of the Legendary Busse Combat Battle Mistress!!!. . . The Nuclear Meltdown edition will be a ONE-TIME-OFFER ONLY!!!!. . . . It is destined to hold a revered place in your collection as well as being your favorite "Monster Chopper" blade!

Jerry really threw us a bone on one of the most awesome blades ever produced. the NMFBM will be legendary in a few years

Yes. Jerry very clearly stated the NMFBM would be a "one-time-offer only". So I don't see it coming back into production, although it has and probably will appear at shows like Blade and Knob Creek in smallish quantities. As for the LEs, LEs of all models are always "one-time, never coming back". If they weren't, what would be the point in calling them limited editions? :p

You may see one on the Busse table at a show but I doubt they'll be available over the internet again.

One and done! Once the primary production run is over, you'll only find 'em at a show or during a Ganzaaa.

You'll possibly see them at shows and ganzaaas.

What's so special about the NMFBM? Doesn't it just have rounded corners, relative to the regular FBM?

The longest FBM to date:thumbup:

I know I'll be grabbing an LE in the near future. No question they can be found...it's a matter of timing when a Hog wants funds for something new at the trough. Catch those whose have a blade you want at their weakest moment and exploit them for all it's worth :D

The NMFBM LE is my fav !! here's mine and I ain't selling it :D

lol....ding we have a target. this man's sub conscious mind made him put that comment out there as a defense mechanism. You sir are being watched...I can sit back and wait

Even though the NMFBM is a couple inches longer, mine feels lighter. It has a different character than either the FBM or FFFBM runs.

It is a longer blade, as others have mentioned. The two NM FBM versions are shown at the right.
