Acrid is correct, I came across this motor free of charge. Dont ask. Now then the VFD (Im not sure what it is, does, or looks like) may be obtainable for the same low price as the motor.![]()
A VFD (Variable Frequency drive) will vary the speed of the motor. YOu can turn it down when you are using the finer grits and turn iit up for the corser grits. Thats why the 3450 rpm is not a factor when you are using the VFD. You can also slow it down with the pulley size and then very the speed with the drive. if you do decide to get rid of the motor, let me know. I would be interested in buying it.
