Will this motor work?

It's a 2hp 3ph baldor I'm trying to get on ebay but I really don't know any other requirements for the motor I'd need to power a 2x72

Only thing I see that could be a problem is the frame type, you can't face mount it like you can a 56C frame. This would be a problem on something like a GIB. Also, the shaft size is 7/8". You would need drive wheel bored for this size. RPM, TEFC enclosure, 2hp and 3 phase all look good for a grinder.

I'm gonna build my own out of 2" square tubing but saw this motor for under 100 bucks and didn't know if I should jump on it or not

You can get a 7/8" bore from OregonBladeMaker And since your are building your own, making a mount would be easy, even if you want to have a tilt for horizontal grinding.
