Will this work (vfd)

Ok, and they just go to the a1,a2 and L1,L2? can it really be that simple? also, can i simply reverse the motor without using the switch, i need it to run backwards for sharpening.

appreciate your help.., and yes, that is the same manual i have.
 
Looking at your grinder, I think you only want it to run 1 direction, correct?

If that's the case, you don't need a switch.
 
Brian, yes i only need it to run counter clockwise. is it just like any motor where i swap two wires? DC is confusing me.
 
Done, Done and done! man, its easy to over think things. now, where do we get plugs for buttom of controller? i have one, but need another as i have two separate wires fed in.
