Will we see any other Beckers in D2?

I'm planning to buy a heavy duty hard use 5" fixed blade in D2 steel. I've been browsing options and reading reviews but I've yet to find one that's exactly what I want. What I'd really love to have is something like a BK-2 in uncoated D2.

It's been a few years since the release of the BK-24. Are we likely to ever see other Becker models offered in D2?
 
We need more of the classics in different steels:
BK9 in CPM 3V :D
BK14 in S30V
BK 16 in D2

I would buy all of those
 
I think I like the 1095CV just fine and dandy thank you.

Probably a snow ball's.... :D Personally, I'm perfectly happy with the performance I've gotten out of my 1095 versions. Using 1095 keeps the price down, allowing me to buy more of them than I could with the higher prices more exotic steels would cause.

If D2 shot the price up...that would be me out. Perk of BK&T line is great knives for a helluva price!!! Europe prices are way higher than US so even a moderate mark-up would translate into very expensive here.

What is wrong with 1095cv that would make us all want D2? Is it that such of an amazing super steel we would have to have it?
 
Nothing is at all wrong with 1095 but there is that nagging desire to go to the next level. The trade-off would be a significantly higher price. Not only due to higher raw material price but the machining process as well. I would love to see a 7, 9, or 16 in 3v but I would hate to see the price double or triple. Now D2 with its near stainless perfection would be an excellent choice. Would I buy a 16 at 30% more, yeah probably
 
Yeah, look at the BK- 7 versus the BK- 77, once upon a time the 7 was yhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhyhpooooooooooooooo0==================================================11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111qqqqqqqq
