I am wanting to traid the sweat from my brow to some one in the Gulfport, MS area willing to apprentice an active duty member. We will need to work around my scedual unlike most jobs i cant change it to fit i must work around it. and wether or not any thing is available i will be starting to learn but first i need to make a forge ive seen instructions recently but cant seem to find them again... any info leading to there finding will be rewarded whit a hardy thanks

Hey Brax, welcome to the forum. You can problably find alot of the infor you're looking for checking out the makers section of this forum. They have alot of good info there along with great links to suppliers and tutorials. FOr example have a look at the stickies in the shop talk portion of the makers forum. Good luck to you.

thanks a million ill be back from Iraq soon and will be attempting to make a forge, and The Charcoal Retort by Daniel O'Connor. whitch i found online aswell as the forge bulding instructions. I think the neibers that didnt like me before would rather me go back to drinkin.
