I stopped by Willey Knives in Greenwood DE on the way home yesterday from the beach. Wanted to pick up a lot of sharp stuff, but couldn't pass up the good prices they had on two Queen knives. Slippie Mountain Man in zebrawood and D2, and an older canoe in honey bone and D2. Knowledgeable staff, didn't get to meet Mr. Willey, but the manager of the store was there, his daughter Geri. There were also two gentlemen there who assisted me, I forget the older mans name unfortunately. Very helpful.

I agree- I love the place. Mr. Willey is a super nice guy as is all his staff. His daughter has always been more than helpful. There's a younger guy in there that believe is his son or grandson that knows his stuff as well. I've gone in there and just looked around for a while handling a lot of knives and they are really cool and not try to pressure you to buy or buy any one thing in particular.

I believe Mr. Willey and the younger boy both make knives as well. I know when I was speaking to the younger guy he said he had made one or two and was looking to get back into it. BTW - they do some GREAT sharpening! I haven't been down there in a while but I've been thinking of making a trip some time soon. They've got a CASE event coming up soon.

Glad you could make it there on the way back - it's not a far detour from the beach at all if you are heading home.

They said they're having a Case event on the 14th, with some stuff on sale.
