OK. I've done my research. Just about ready to commit the money but wanted any input folks would have.

Any problems? All I've read is quality comments so far.

Thanks,

Dean

I don't have one, but a friend of mine does. It's a superbly nice gentleman's folder. Fit and finish is great. I would love to have one someday. The only thing I would change is the blade steel, but then again, ATS34 is plenty good enough for anything you'd possibly need. I personally like the fishtail oak variety, but it does cost more.

RDaniel,
I don't think you will regret the purchase. The CF Lancet was my first knife anywhere near that price range, and I'm very pleased. Great knife for when you need to be PC. About the only "downside" to the CF Lancet is that it's so light that your brain wants to think of it as delicate.

If I was going to suggest one improvement, it would be for William Henry to ship the knife with a more acute bevel, something in the 30 - 35 degree range, like Spyderco; the bevel on my CF Lancet was just a bit over 40 degrees when I got it.

Just read Lagerman's post. Yeah, this knife would be awesome in VG-10, like the WH Evolution series.

Recently I decided I wanted to carry something in addition to my SAK for everyday use. I hadn't carried a locking folder for about 6 years and I started learning about high-quality knives earlier this year. The CF Lancet was my first purchase and it is the perfect knife for every day carry, especially if you work in an office environment. It is extremely light so you always have it with you. I have since bought a couple of larger knives (Spyderco Starmate & Microtech LCC), but the Lancet is the only one I have with me at all times. The blade is large enough to take care of basically all indoor tasks and doesn't scare anyone. The satin finish on the blade is beautiful and the tolerances are very tight. I don't think you can go wrong with this knife.

Thanks all for your comments. I ordered the knife from KnifeArt.com and just got it today. All your comments were correct.

Exactly. The only, very minor, negative.

The knife is a beauty. Very well made. Very light. My first knife at this dollar amount. I'm pleased. Haven't given it any field (office) testing yet.
