I have been pondering purchase of a WH Spearpoint, but it carries a hefty pricetag.

I currently possess Benchmades and Emersons.

At the price of this WH I can purchase 2-3 less expensive BMs or EKs. Is the WH price justified?

Any comments are appreciated... Thunder25

If what you want is an elegant gents knife that can also do some real cutting, the Spearpoint is a great deal. If you want a heavy duty tactical, get a cheaper knife.

If you really appreciate quality in a knife, WH is the brand to go with. Yes, the Spearpoint is pricey but IMO it is worth it due to the overall manufacturing quality, smooth action, and good looks. You can't go tactical all the time!

I think it is worth it. Absolutely beautiful finish. And it is hand-finished, even if it is factory produced, which makes it as good as a handmade, IMO.
