52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat kiln with three 20 minute normalizing cycles and two tempering cycles for 1 hour each. This achieves a hardness of Rc 58-60 and a fine grain structure throughout the blade.
Flat grind with a 400 grit belt finish
Brass fixtures with G10 spacers
Bone handle that I jigged and dyed
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade:3 3/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
