Stock removal from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with a cork belt finish
Stabilized spalted maple handle with brass and Micarta fixtures. Stabilizing is a vacuum process that fills the wood cells with resin making it much harder, durable and water proof/
