This month marks 20 years since I joined BFC, and I have way too many cool knives living in drawers. Among them are multiple back-ups of several Busse models. To commemorate, I’m offering 10 great INFI blades at sale prices well below my cost.
Standard forum rules apply—First “I’ll take it”; PayPal G&S and insured priority shipping within USA are included in price. No sales outside US and no trades—thanks.
Listed in order left-to-right as shown above (see more pics in posts below):
(SOLD) INFI BB13, new/unused in cardboard, tan Res-C on black blade. Has a deep convex edge applied by Ban Tang, for which he charged $140 due to the blade size and shape. His belt smoothed the coating a little near the edge on one side. If you haven’t experienced “Stupid Sharp” this is a great chance on a remarkable tool. $375
(SOLD) INFI BB13, bead blasted by our own Clampdaddy, also with the $140 Ban Tang convex edge treatment. Light user—Ban’s edge is still a razor. Typical small surface pits/machine marks (began life as a coated blade). Comes with a generic nylon bolo machete sheath and comfy grip wrap. $375
(SOLD) Basic 11—light user, black on black. Blade coating is scuffed along one side, has a few nicks in coating. Edge has been modified to asym by me and is sharp--bites with authority. Kydex sheath with excellent fit and retention. One of the all-time great Busse blades. I just have too many of these. $295
(SOLD) Battle Saw—stripped, light user, excellent edge. Patriot leather sheath. Typical light machine marks on blade, sheath has some light scuffing, but excellent condition overall and will make a super impressive user. $475
(SOLD) B10 LE, no choil. Buy Brown pancake kydex. This user has been to the sandbox and shows it with ample scratches along the flats, but no rolls, dings or gouges on edge or spine (or anywhere else). $295
(SOLD) Satin Alpha Regulator 9.5, brand new with Mashed Cat kydex—super trim/packable rig. Sheath retention is by a thong that runs through the choil behind the heel of the edge. Accepts large teklok (not included). I had the shop leave the SYKCO mark off when I ordered it—this one reads “INFI” (only)

(SOLD) Satin HOGB8, long clip with penetrator tip, brand new unused/never carried. Comes in beautiful Busto-made custom leather sheath. I purchased this knife with deep-discount Black Friday shop credit and will pass the discount on to you. The steal of the bunch. $425
(SOLD) Basic 8 LE with factory asymmetrical edge by Garth. Mashed Cat kydex. All brand new, a few kydex scuffs. The ultimate field knife? $315
(SOLD) Basic 8 LE, new with light kydex scuffs. Standard factory convex edge. Includes Esmond black kydex with excellent fit/retention. $295
(SOLD) Stag-handled Basic 5. M-INFI. I had the shop remove the Res-C handle, thin the asymmetrical edge and strip the blade—not satin, just a good working finish (cleaner finish than Competition). Then I sent it to Dennis Riley, who removed the talon and installed a full custom guard, mortised stag grips and pommel cap. Very solid, strikingly handsome piece that has seen only light use, very light surface scratches. I’ve maintained the asym edge—seriously razor sharp. Comes in padded, zippered case—no sheath. You know you’ve always wanted a stag Busse. Way under my cost @ $375
A general note on knives with kydex sheaths—you may find a light kydex mark or two on any of them, although I’ve tried to describe most of that above. No tekloks are provided, but all of these accept a large. If you need a teklok let me know and I can probably provide one for you.
See next post below for more pics. Post 3 has photos of some individual knives with features of interest.
