I just got one of these from Bladeart.com. This is a compilation between Darrel Ralph and Ryan Wilson. I'm not sure which of these two makers had his hand on my particular knife, and an article in Tactical Knives stated there is no way of finding out, however from the fit and finish that is displayed on mine it is apparent that lots of TLC went into making this one. The cost was $275.00 which is the price for the base model. The models above this one include handle coatings, and or inlays, and anodizing. I am primarily carrying this knife as a duty workhorse. I am sure that it would definately fill a defense roll if needed as such.

Blade: It is just under 4" and is made of a specially heat treated 440-OC. The coating is black and is made of Wilson Combat's Armor Tuff. This is supposed to be really tough. The blade is hollow ground and is really, really sharp.

Handle: The handle is made of uncoated Titanium and fills the hand very nicely. The profile is thin and when the knife is closed sits nicely in the pocket. Not to start a problem with all of you Large Sebenza owners, but the knife is built like a Large Sebenza. The lock is integral in the handle like on a Sebenza.

Overall: The blade has dual thumbstuds, and the pocket clip is able to be reversed for tip up, or tip down carry. I have seen the knife advertised with a zipperd case, but mine came with a lockable hard plastic Pellican case with foam inserts. This is a Bladeart.com option, because the top of the case has a Bladeart metal plaque inlayed on it. The case is awesome for airline travel. I am currently deployed to heavy weapons training in TX and had to fly here from MD last week. I locked the knife in the case and secured it in my checked baggage. The airline security officer said that was not a problem and actually thought this type of case was a good way to carry a knife in checked luggage. I am very happy with this knife and in my eyes this is the ultimate tactical folder. I would recommened it to anyone who depends on a knife for everyday survival.

I was able to look at Anthony Cheeseboro's at the ST. Louis knife show and the knife is impressive. I can't wait until Ralph/Wilson make one with a 3' blade, that is, if they do.

It's not. From experience, handguns with Armor Tuff flake/chunk/wear very quickly. Armor Tuff is one of the worst "wonder coats" I have ever seen. It's certainly not the be-all, end-all that Wilson would have you believe.

That said, this is a very nice looking knife.
