Wilson Combat Thanos Build

---Even if the propane doesn't completely run out while you're forging, ya still gotta take it to get it filled at some point! :D .. I usually let mine get fairly low before I go fill it up, although I don't make a living as a bladesmith and only use a 5 gallon tank, so it's not much of a biggy for me. Also, I have a gas station only about a mile up the road from my house where I can get it refilled quickly.

I don't forge, but do barbeque....and keep two spares on hand at all times, even though my Weber has a weight gauge, I have run out of propane in the past, and don't EVER want to do it again....but I don't make my living off of barbecueing....

STeven Garsson

Seems like I run out at the most inopportune time...I keep a spare ready.

Can't wait to see the rest of these blades.

I actually used to sell bulk propane at the bike shop. True story. Tricky stuff.
Sorry I can't be of any help to you, Kyle :)

Yesterday I got 2 more forged as well as a large Persian Bowie Heat treated for a customer. I spent about 3 hrs being interviewed by the local newspaper, apparently with the forged in fire show on people are interested in bladesmithing now.

Thanos, yes......HUGE Persian......YES!!!!!!! [emoji106][emoji631][emoji631]

Good to see you have invested in some good safety footwear. :D

I have found that shoes hurt worse when hot metal drops on them and then burns though. It takes forever to get the shoe off and by then the metal has burnt through my foot, with these it hits and usually bounces off.

I would like to see Gahagan arm wrestle JParanee....my money is on Gahagan.

Gary

One of the dumber things I have read on BFC this year. Have you ever met either Joseph or Kyle?

Best Regards,

When I was working in the Welding Industry I know an ol' boy that had a bb of stainless go through the eyelet on his boot and burn into the bone before he was able to remove it.....crippled him up.

As for the Arm Wrestling.....be a hella show!!!! [emoji41]

Forging in sandals keeps one hopping, I know. A chunk of 1500 degree scale, wedged between your toes, will make you step lightly while proclaiming to heaven %$##@&&^*

Military spats work well since there is no place for the scale to get caught up, it slides off instead.

Congratulations on the contract with Wilson. They must think a great deal of your work seeing as how what they offer is exceptional.
