Wilson Startac Umnumzaan - 2nd Batch

Anyone look at this as the first regular custom graphic Umnumzaan? behind the two special S35VN's of course
 
That brown truck was honking in my driveway Thursday afternoon... a little box from AR - with a new Wilson Combat 'zaan within. I found out why they weren't available 8/30/10 - that's my example's build date. I found an obvious difference from the pictures of the first batch.... mine has 'IDAHO MADE' imprinted on the frame-lock scale side where the the CR logo is on the plain side. Anyone else notice that? I checked mine against a new arrival production 'zaan at a local dealer. It didn't have the 'IDAHO MADE' and was a bit stiffer opening.

I thought it wasn't as scarey sharp as it should be - but it was a great arm hair raiser - and stripped paper in quite fine strips. Great lockup. With some determination, it is a one-hander - at least as an opener. I'm happy. Actually, I am still feeling 'unworthy' of such a fine knife. I am impressed with my first CR knife!

I ordered on about 2 weeks or less ago. they were in stock on thursday I sent them a message and they said they got em on thursday 2 weeks ago. Just purchase one on their web. you will get yours soon. It is limited time not quantity I believe until late fall.

Does this mean that they are made to order?I thought I read that there was only 57 made in the second batch... I was planning to get a regular 'zaan at some point, but saw this and am really trying to scrape the funds together before they're gone!!
