Does anyone know where I could find a Wilton Square Wheel platen?? I want to order a new KMG but I really want the platen that comes on the Wilton Grinder. I was hoping to locate one and try to adapt it to the KMG. It has a 1.5" and a 3" contact wheel on it and can be rotated to use in multiple positions. Any help would be appreciated.

K&G and Sheffield use to have them, not sure now.

But like said above, I'd bet Rob would make one like that when you order your KMG.

Already asked. No go. I will have to keep searching.

I do like the swivel action and small/large wheels of the Wilton platen but I don't/didn't like the fact that the platen is wider than the 2" belts.

I'm sure a Wilton Platen can be had, will just take a little digging. They used to be very common.

That is why I was hoping Rob could make me one but no such luck.

Tru-Grit sells the Wilton grinder. They don't list the platen specifically, but they've always been able to get me the parts I needed, even when not listed on the site.

It IS handy to be able to tilt the platen quickly and use the two wheels.
