The one I had a let it get away! I still have my old pivot/no-OTS (which will never leave) but would love to have both. A very sweet score.

I've been EDCing an old pivot/no-OTS Zaan for over a month now (which frankly is hard to believe if you know what a blade-whore I usually am), but this Star-Tac is so dang sweet. Previous owner put a nice polished edge via WE and combined with the "heavier" looking S30V stonewash, it is just WOW.

I had one and sold it after I found the grooves to be sharp and uncomfortable when holding the knife tightly during use. The grooves on the wilson zaan are different than those on the wilson sebenza. On the wilson sebenza there is some flats between the grooves, while with the zaan there are none resulting in sharper grooves which cut into my fingers when holding. Its a great design and I just wish the grooves on the wilson zaan mimicked those on the wilson sebenza.

These are so awesome. My bud 1Abominable1 and I picked up one of the last runs with the old pivot. What I find interesting in the one I have is, it not only does NOT have the LBS system, but if you look at the second pic, notice the jimping on the spine. Old school, perhaps new Sebenza school. Also the contouring of the lock bar. Either way I believe this Zaan to be a one of a kind unless others here have one or seen one? I had Vess make me a nice belt sheath to compliment this sweet knife. Other CRKs will come and go in my collection, but this one is here to stay!
