The past couple of days i have been trying to stain some leather in order to make it look old and beaten up and i think i am starting to get the hang of it.
When i came home from work today i took some of the stained leather pieces and cut a spiderweb pattern and stiched together a spidery sheath.
I had not intended to use this leather for making sheaths because it's a little on the soft side but i put some leather hardner on it and it firmed up nicely..
I will give this sheath to the hog or hogette that chops thru or chops down the thickest tree/log..
Be sure to document the thickness of your tree properly
Well folks GET CHOPPING

I'll see if i can get some better pics of the sheath tomorrow.
