Ok, here's the story.
Knife Rights had a LE BK10 up for grabs at the Spirits of Steel show, here in Knoxville. The gentleman that won it, graciously gave it BACK to Knife Rights, and said, "Do it again." So we are, but with a little twist.
Here is what I CHALLENGE you to do. Go over to your knife collection, and pick out your favorite. Take a long look at it, note the features you like so much. Its size, shape, weight, balance, steel, handle, all of it.
Now, think about this, What if you couldn't legally own that knife anymore? What if you can't use it again? What if you can't buy it again? What if they can't make them anymore? That's what Knife Rights is protecting. Not the thousands of knives "out there" but the ones in your hand. Your knives.
SO, here is what we are gonna do. We've made a great place here, and great community of some of the best people I have the pleasure of conversing with. Let's give a little back, to those that are PROTECTING YOUR KNIVES!!
We are gonna raffle the Special LE BK10 off, here in the BKT forum. Here's how it works, go here,
Win a Special LE BK10, Moose Style
And donate $10 (you can donate more, if you wish, but it only counts as one entry) in the Second Front Legislative Campaign, its where the money is needed most right now. Once you click, Add to Cart, it will take you to a page where your payment info is collected. In the Comment Field (after your CC info), enter BKT forum (this will let me know who entered from here), finish filling out all the info, and click Confirm Order. You just donated, and entered the drawing. Post up here, and let me know you dontated.
With the donation of $10, you get a chance to win the LE BK10 that has been won, and given back. Along with the usual bells and whistles, Ethan Becker will sign the box, and will write a letter of authenticity, telling the story of how this knife came to be in YOUR possession. From the Camillus blanks, to the putting it in the box headed to your house. No other knife in the world will be like this one. 1 of 180 is good, but 1 of 1 is better.
Money's tight? Same here, but I do wanna lay a little perspective out. We will run this raffle for 2 weeks, if you put back $.72 a day, in two weeks you have $10. And a chance to win a one of kind knife. $10, thats all. Make your donation by October 19. The drawing will be held the following Friday
But, what you are acually doing, is protecting your knives, my knives, their knives, all knives. And our rights to own them. Not a bad deal for $10, me thinks.
You got what it takes to stand side by side with guys like Ted Nugent, R. Lee Ermey, Jeff Randall, Ethan Becker, KA-BAR, and hundreds more? and protect your OWN rights? I do, and just did.
