What can you tell me about the Winchester Model 100? I have an opportunity to pick one up. Are they reliable?

They had a major recall abot 20 years ago. The firing pin would break and the gun would slam fire. Had a tendancy to fire out of time which would "Kaboom" the action. Magazines are a serious issue, hard to find and expensive.
