Windshield Wipers

I buy bosch from a big name auto parts store because they give a one year warranty and they’re nice blades. I go in after about ten months because they start streaking a little and they give me a new pair. The extra price to me is worth it because I am basically getting two sets for the price of one.
Never considered doing that. Maybe that's why they cost so damn much.

I saw on line that if you spray vinegar on your windshield that it keeps the windshield from icing up over night if you park outside. Need to try this.

I installed Bosch wiper blades on my little pickup and then promptly totaled it within about a month.... what can I say? Stuff happens.

I would have to say from personal experience the 2 best wiper blades I’ve used are:
Bosch ICON & Rain-X Latitude

Both are definitely in the pricey side for wiper blades but performed extremely well. When you think they’ve had it, just give them a wipe with a soapy rag or whatever you have in the car (paper towel, chipotle napkins ) and clean the rubber. 3 season wiper blades I would lean towards the Latitudes/4 season like here in the northeast I would lean towards the Icons.

I've never tried the vinegar but from my experiences with Rain X, I think a fairly fresh coat will help with cleaning ice and frost off.

I've even gone so far as to use isopropyl and cotton balls to clean the blades. Can't say it helped significantly, but the cotton balls sure turned black.

I wound up getting a set of Goodyear blades from a warehouse place you have to be a member of. A tad trickier to install (not too bad really, just not as idiot proof as the last set). So far the performance is not good. Never bought a pair I was not happy with until these. At one point the blade on the driver's side just would not get all the rain off, to the point I almost pulled over. That has not happened since then, but it still seems to leave more water than I think is acceptable.

Oh well, lesson learned
