Buck DID do Special Orders. They haven't since 2019 or 2020, though. (see the 2018 BF 2 blade 301 Stockman, and the various SFO's sold by SK Blades and Copper & Cladd.Knice knife for sure, congrats on ownership.
Just hazarding a guess since the blade is etched 'custom knife shop' that it was a special order(didn't know they do them) . Maybe for an employee, or other VIP. Also didn't know they had partial chipped flint S30V blades available. Haven't seen where they would put turquoise or any spacer on a custom shop knife. Could be a aftermarket re-handle Interesting![]()
Thank you!!! I've been trying to remember where I got that 112 drop point in 5160.C&C even had a few of the 100 series made with 5160 blades and on the fixed blades, a brass guard and pomel, along with wood grips.
Nice.Thank you!!! I've been trying to remember where I got that 112 drop point in 5160.
Nice.
I was gifted of their 110s with a 5160 blade and "Oak" covers, a couple years ago.
IMHO a 110 looks even better with a patina.
