Well 1000 posts,thanks for putting up with me so far.
A competition to get the grey matter moving.
this will end 31st march at 08.00 GMT
THE RULES
1/you must be a paying member with at least 100 posts
2/you must have a Pay Pal account,unless U.K.based.
3/in the event of a draw the first post # wins
The prize is $20.00 paid into your PP account

each blade has been measured from tip to bolster.
add all the blade measurements together,What is the total length of blade in mm

Congrats on the post count, and nice collection of knives! I'll take a wild stab at it with 477 mm.

Astonishingly, my eyeball count came up with 383 as well. 384 for me! Thanks for the chance, and you have some stellar knives.
 
Thanks for a great GAW/contest! Like Jack I also came up with 416, so I'll adjust to a guess of 418mm.
 
Not an entry, since I still don't have a PayPal account. But congrats on 1000 posts, bonzodog! :thumbup::thumbup: Nice GAW to celebrate your "longevity". :D Even though this isn't an official entry, I'd like to go on record for 430.5 mm. It will be interesting to see how good (or bad) my estimation skills are.

Nice one bonzodog not an entry but I would guess 525 mm . congratulations on your 1000 post :thumbup:
