No, I just thought I overheard Mike say at Blade that he does all the cooking

Lady does some of the cooking, she actually trained in the kitchen at the restaurant she works at, but, I do all the cooking. Of course, she sleeps til 1pm and is gone in the evenings when cooking is required. I get the girls up, breakfast, prep lunch for school, and then take over parenting at 5pm when I get off work. She gets the afterschool snack, and homework. I get the rest.

I am wondering..do I need to use an ESEE knife in this contest? I should be able to find something to cook..but I dont own an ESEE right YET.
Also, if I understand the rules..do I need to use roadkill only? Not a problem right now..as anything that dies here..freezes here.:D
Also..I like the comment about a man that wont cook and a woman that wont take care of a man..thats a good one I have never heard before.
Anyway..since I like both companies..I will avoid the knife throwing...
And..If the chance rodent shows itself I will participate. Gene

Ok i will have to upgrade my membership for this contest.....I love to cook wild game....first the ingrediants....

2. 12 ga. remingtion
3. trigger happy nervous little brother
4. 1 deer
5. 1 curious little rabbit
6. rc-3 and izula
7. salt and pepper

The deer was taken opening day and processed with my rc-3....I thru a pack of frozen backstrap in my pack for a day hunt for squirrel with my little brother in tow...after hiking out to my favorite squirrel spot....we settled in and waited for sunrise....about 10 min before sunrise i heard little bro yell oh shit... and a shotgun blast.....A rabbit had worked its way to within 10 feet of him without him noticing....we still pick on him and say he shot it in self defense.....anyway for lunch we had the backstrap and rabbit over a fire in camp....seasoned with only salt and pepper and served with a can of grilling beans cooked in the coals.....btw little brother processed the rabbit with his izula that i gifted him that morning for his bday....it was his first rabbit...I took the deer opening day and we went on our squirrel trip on dec. 19

Same here. I been cooking for a while, got some good recipes, but I don't get to cook much anymore. Wife works nights, I work days, and since its just me and the kids in the evening, no need to go all full house dinner. I cook stuff on the weekends, for the girls, but not through the week.

Same here. Wife head out to work just about the time I get home, and the kids are fairly picky about what they like. Made a nice Chilli last night, some corn bread, and long grain rice since the kids were away at the cousins and my wife was working. Was a tad bit hot for me, but still good. DJ is home tonight, so it is likely to be a Mac and Cheese kinda supper....

EDIT: For the record, I liked the book of Eli as well.... don't hold it against me Jeff, I just thought it was an interesting twist on an old theme.

I forgot about this thing. Runs until Sunday? That would be 2 weeks. I ain't eating a maggot sandwich but I'll put some venison recipes on here for my bretheren of the backstrap.

I'll cook some stuff up and take some pic-aronis.

I don't know about the roadkill requirement, but the DVDs are great. :D

The Book of Eli was great, so was The Road. I don't care what Mr. Man says. :D

Well I'm fresh out of dead cats but I do have access to some other deliciously dead animals... In fact just ran across a great stash of them today! Tomorrow I'll throw a pot or two in the backpack and do a good old fashioned river-side stew and/or BBQ.

lack of participation on this big prize is pretty sad plus the info on these dvd's is awesome ,I own a set thanks to Don R.

this is the first contest i entered.....i always figured if i wanted a knife i would go buy it...but this prize was to good not to enter...
