Congrats AntDog! That's an awesome looking knife you just won. And Thank You el0147 for hosting the giveaway.

Ok, I've had this gorgeous knife for a while, time for a review!

When I first received it I was blown away... Excellent craftsmanship! Flawless grinds, great materials, ergonomics are absolutely first rate. Drew ships these right too. It was shipped in a square container capped off at both ends with rubber caps. Inside the rubber was foam at the handle end, and cork at the blade tip. Very professional - the man knows how to ship a knife safely, and with class!

The first thing I did (after I fondled it a while) was ship it off for fresh kydex pants. Ronnie Hale (our very own Halestorm) was the man for the job. He's local, so it didn't take long, plus he does a great job! Here it is with the kydex (and with Drew's great packaging):

I have carried it ever since as a neck knife. It's just a tad heavier than I'd like for a neck knife, but still doable. I've been carrying it all this time, and I didn't mind much! Plus, Ronnie spaced the holes for a teklok, so belt carry is no problem.

Down to the nuts and bolts - how does it cut? It cuts like a razor blade! The blade grind goes right up to the edge, and the edge is so thin that it's almost imperceptible. It is a true "zero edge". The grind goes down literally to the edge. Edges don't get much thinner than that. This makes the knife an excellent slicer! This was just with light pressure:

See? Laid wide open like nothing.... That's the way this knife cuts. It means business. The shape is fully intended to slice, and this knife excels at that function!

It has cut MILES of cardboard:

And it's sharp enough to cut curves in very thin, free hanging paper (I had to lay the paper down to take the picture!):

I am so proud to own this knife! I am so happy, gracious, and fortunate to have won it! But now that I have it, it is one knife I would replace immediately if anything happened to it. It is just amazing. It cuts better than almost any knife I own, and that's really saying something. So, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to Drew! And I would also like to very highly recommend his knives. They truly are something to behold! Get one in your hand and zip right through most anything with ease!

Thanks again Drew!

You deserve the win! Now, let's see it at work in the kitchen--your last set of pics with all that bacon got my mouth watering!

Will do! Pics incoming tomorrow. It really does excel in the kitchen! And thanks again

I have a very similar knife from drew and I must agree on all accounts. He makes exceptional knives and is a first class guy.

Congrats on the knife. It's great to hear that there is such a friendly, honest and skilled group of knife makers on this site.
Congrats again.

Thanks! And I agree completely with both of you, Drew really is a great guy who makes one hell of a knife, and we have some excellent knifemakers on here. It's a blessing for us, but a curse for our wallets!
