*For the Winner my last post (#56)
So I think it's time for a JK pumpkin carving contest, it may even keep us poor saps entertained while the lucky ones go to the gathering.
How about a JK pocket knife as a prize?
You can see them HERE.
Since I'm going to run this until Halloween it will have to be part of the November order. The Prize Knife will be delivered to you in November, probably the middle of the month with your specified handle material.
Prize:
-A free pocket knife with handle work and a choice between brass or copper pins (solid of tube for the back pin), bead and leather lanyard feel free to enter.
-Chose you own handle material from the list in the thread HERE
-Sheaths and other options will have to be extra $, sorry :uncomfortableness:
You can see any number of examples (as well as available handle materials) in the some of my favorites:

cleaver jr
Here's the rules;
-Anyone can enter
-You have to submit a JK themed carved pumpkin (whether you use JK's to carve, design an effigy of John on the pumpkin, write or "Boss Approved, or hack out a JK knife in the pumpkin etc etc whatever you can come up with.)
-Extra pictures, or the process or whatever else you want, are also encouraged
-Please feel free to "advertise" the contest elsewhere, more the merrier
-You must be over 21 to enter and legally allowed to own, and have shipped to you, the prize. Anyone under that can post pictures as well FYI, for fun
-Shipping in the USA is free!
-I will mail outside the US and you can complete, but you have to pay the extra shipping and I can't take responsibility for it once it leaves the USA. (if it gets lost in the mail, we'll all feel your pain, but i can't replace the knife)
The winner will be chosen by John himself, if he's up for it, or someone he appoints, or I'll come up with something else, (should have asked first i guess

I cheater and used a Scandinavian knife for some of it, because I don't have any 1/16" JKs
pumpkins are a family activity after all
some knives used and not used

Not bad, eh? Well, no one said it had to be good or anything
