That's not how I would interpret it. #1 was the announcement and the final person submitting a photo was post #41 so 1-40 represents posts 2-41. Therefore, I would interpret the winner being #24 to be the 25th post and therefore it's biggerjon. Either way, congratulations to the winner.

Ahh, i see, youre right. My mistake. Sorry everyone. Well, i PMd Falco already to let him know he won. Guess i'll leave it up to everyone to decide what i should do to make it "fair"?
 
I've seen several of these done and entered a couple. I always understood that the drawn number would be the number in the upper right of the posts, no math involved. I say Falco.q

In the end I agree that this is the standard way of doing this.
 
Falco's the winner in my mind. I've seen these done several times and the number that it picks is the number that you go with. Let's not complicate things...
