Not sure if it has an official name, but we call it "Sheep Skinner" as far as I know, there is only one other so far. John didn't save the pattern from the first one, but near as I can tell, he did a fantastic job replicating it.
 
Can't remember who owns this one, but it was a heck of slicer.

thanks for the generous offer haven't really gotten into edc carry but this would be a great start and would be a great go to survival knife for any situation thanks and would be good for fishing, and camping in lower southeast Michigan. great knife btw jk knives are great by all the pics and testimony i have seen and heard.
 
I swear i will use this knife & tool set alot and use it hard like all the rest of my knives. I'm in. Thanks.

Here is a shelter I was working on in February, but then spring came. In fall or whenever I find myself up that way I'll finish the back with making a roof of sticks.
