This is a customized German made Okapi ratchet knife that I re handled with 3 aluminum breaker bars and 3/16" brass pivot screws that has no sheath. I replaced the ratchet duck on it. All I had on hand as I ditched the rusty ring. It now has paracord.

An old Browning lock back of mine. The sheath below is being used for the Okapi.

Thanks for the photo, Gary! As I suspected, the sheath is spectacular!!:thumbup: I love the fleur de lis (is that what it's called) design on a sheath for a Chamriard!:cool: Do you have to get a special "die" or something to stamp that into the leather, or did you somehow "freehand" that??

It's an older embossing tool I had on hand, seem apropos for the situation ;)

and Zemapeli, you are very close to the 200 mark, you have until tomorrow nite to be at the 200 post level in Traditionals, so, post away :)

Like that? :D

The lily was the symbol of all the kings since Louis the VIIth who used it on his flag for the 2nd crusade.

Sept. 1st was the anniversary of Louis the XiVth 's death ofgangrene after 72 years of reign!

NICE, I like that embossing, mine isn't as aged as that one is and too bad about the King !

I'll be back shortly with the winning post number so hang in there folks.

Locking it for a little bit.

Thanks Gus, but this one was made in France and not one I made, it came with the knife

Congrats again, Mike, and thanks for the picture of your prize sheath!:thumbup:
That EO teardrop jack looks fantastic, and the sheath looks like it will help keep it that way!
