To enter, post "I'm in". I'd be interested to hear what you might use them for, but winner will be chosen at random, even if he or she would just put them in a drawer and look at them occasionally, as I have.
Your first post is your entry number.
Open till this Friday, 23 March, 3:00 pm Eastern time.
By entering you certify that there is no legal reason you shouldn't have these knives.

I got them at an estate sale that also featured many cribbage boards decorated with veneer inlays.
The bigger one is missing a tiny fraction of an inch of the point, probably stuck in a cribbage board somewhere. The smeary look of the blades is due to a coat of paste wax.

I never have used a Mora , munchkin or otherwise ,but I like the looks of them.
if I were to win , I would use them to make walking sticks and such like. Thanks for the chance at your generous give away!

I'm in! Thanks for the giveaway.

I grew up in northern Wisconsin. My grandfather was a very popular knife sharpener in Stone Lake, WI. He used to sharpen a lot of Mora's right before deer season. I remember seeing them hanging in his shop growing up. Probably why I'm still drawn to them. I would give the smaller one to my 8 year old son and use the larger one for field dressing and butchering whitetails.

I'm in; the big one will go to my older brother and the smaller one to my younger brother in time for some hiking and camping this summer (if we can all get together in one place.) Nice finds and thanks for the chance!

I have never owned a Mora, or a Scadi grind.

I would use these for camping, fire building, fuzz sticks etc.

Right now my Opinels are king for that.

I am not seeing the picture. But I like the small Moras. They make a great neoviking neck knife. I will probably give them away after reprofiling the one with the broken tip.

Those are heads and tails above the inexpensive modern Moras. I think I would keep them. I'm in. And thanks for the opportunity:)

The wood handled ones available nowadays are painted either fire engine red or look like they were made from a 2x4. Those are beauties.

If I won I'd give the small one to my daughter. I think it would be a good choice for her first fixed blade. Eventually I'd teach her how to make spikketrollets with it.

The second one would go back into circulation to some other forumite. Share the wealth and all that.

Thanks for the giveaway. I've never had a traditional Mora either, so would give them both a good workout on wood, cardboard and general chores in the garage and yard. Beautiful handles!

I'm in!

I would probable carry the larger knife to use in the Vineyard, and I would keep the smaller one razor sharp and use it as a desk knife, to cut leather.

Thanks for the giveaway! I've been wondering what knife to giveaway if I ever win one of these.

Corr! These are great looking examples of classic Mora knives.

I shall hwoever, resist the temptation to enter but thank you for yoru generosity.

Best of luck folks.

Can't see the pic for some reason. Not an entry please my friend (I received a smashing Ulster scout knife from SP yesterday)

Good luck everyone

Im in. If i win the small one will be my new edc with new pocket sheath that it will help me make. The big one will go with me on my spring fishing camping trip to moosehead lake. I work in a boatyard so edc will do everything from cuttin rope to boxes. Camp knife obv. Fire. Food. Carving sticks cleaning fish thanks for the chance

Thanks for the replies.
Here's a picture from an earlier batch, in the hope it will be more generally visible than the first. For those who still can't see them, they have barrel-shaped wooden handles with shiny caps at each end, and the tangs peened over tall washers. Sheathes are of the faux leather variety that I think I've heard dates from WWII. Big one has a blade over 3" and a handle that just fills my hand. Little one has a blade under 3" and a 3-finger grip.

I'd probably use them as a backwoods pair. The large one for a belt knife and the small in the pack for food stuffs. Thanks for the chance at those sweet vintage Moras. I'd love to have just one of them!

I'm in, thanks for the chance to play. I'd use them as intended, as great woods walking all-around outdoor knives.

Very nice giveaway. Not an entry as I recently won a sweet Mora TopQ from Mr. leghog. Mora makes great knives for sure.
