Winner of Mora munchkin GAW 1s #33, stv...

I'm in. I used to have an old plastic handled carbon Mora that I gave away to the guy who cleaned our old building. I've since wished I had another as a beater knife to keep in my glove box. I'd probably put the big one in there, and put the small one in the kitchen drawer for my wife to use.

Do you happen to have any pics of the cribbage boards? I used to play that with my mom and grandpa way back in the day, and occassionally my brothers and I still play.

Thanks for the giveaway!

The wood handled ones available nowadays are painted either fire engine red or look like they were made from a 2x4.

Christian, I think the red is called Falu red. It's very common in Sweden. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falu_red

I'm in! My maternal grandfather is second-generation Swedish-American, and I'm sure he would appreciate the gift of one of these beautiful knives. Of course, the other one stays with me for pottering about the yard and garden and for general admiration.

EDITED to add: My grandfather is also an avid cribbage player. I think whittling some cribbage pegs would be a wonderful knifely activity to accompany a leisurely evening with the cards.

I'm in!
never enough of Mora knives,if you like wood carving and whittling

Thanks for the giveaway!

Sorry, Daniel- no pictures of the cribbage boards. I didn't buy one either. I've found it an easy game to learn and an easier one to forget, and I have more boards than I need even if I learn again.

I'm in!!

I've never. Owned a Mora but I've been looking at them quite a bit, I'm just not fond of the plastic handle. Love the wood and the leather together!!

I'd keep the large one for myself and give the other one to my son and use them for camping and hiking trips and everything else I see fit.

I'm in. Use it for edc fixed blade pocketknife. Thank you for the chance to check out a Mora.
Mike

In thank you. I'd probably use them for camping and in few years give them to my daughters as their first fixed blade.

Mike

Definitely in. My girlfriend has very small hands, like little child hands and I've been trying to find a knife, Mora, with a handle that will accommodate her

Thanks

I'm in. I would Use the large one for hunting and give the small one to a hunting buddy.

Thanks for the opportunity :)

I'm in too. I've just started working with my oldest daughter about knife safety/etc., so these might end up serving as the daddy/daughter camp knives for her to learn with. Thanks for the chance.

Michael

I'm in. My son would be very interested in the smaller one. I'd probably throw the larger one in the camper. Thanks for the opportunity!

I'm in. Very nice looking knives. Would be used for skinning/processing deer and other animals or kitchen stuff. Thanks for the chance.

I'm in.

If I win I'll take them with me into the woods and do some whittling. Those beauties need some use. I'd also make some new leather sheaths for them.

Thank you for the opportunity.
