Dixie Mae, the half lab, half beagle, pure mountain mutt, we rescued from the local no-kill shelter about 2.5 years ago a couple of months before she was 2 years old. She was born there, adopted out, then returned there about a year and a half later. There loss was our gain. She is one of the sweetest things in my life.

Once she got used to my routine, this has been what I wake up to at about 0400 every morning and the first thing that I see when I open my eyes.

This little lady is going on 14, though she never really got any bigger than her kitten size. Thanks for the shot at a Robeson.

excellent ..
I love looking at everyones pets.

I too have a knife like this that doesn't have any "snap" when opening and closing, and the blades stay exactly in place-not like a knife when the spring is gone where they flop all over.

So what this lovely old Knife does is open and close like any other knife - but just doesn't snap when at the finish point - yet the blades stay where put- so is still a very usable knife, and functions very well - I think its just such a neat old knife we couldn't go past it.

Thanks so much Adam.

I just think that neat old knife would draw attention from the Traditionalists, and there are some who tinker with knives, and if like me, wouldn't mind using it as is - I am not too sure as to why knives do this - is

Wow its a beauty-I dig that old bone.Gunna have to cheat here and throw a few pics firstly Ryan with his Australian Spotted Python called Fleur.

Next Ryan and Peter with Dess (my bosses dog but we love her all the same)She reminds me of the guard dog from the start of Hogans Heroes.

Finally Margeret who was rescued along with companion Heinz from an illegal collection and must remain captive which is not as bad as it sounds when you are a BlueTongue. She is about 12 inches long now.

Wow Meako - you have some absolutely beautiful animal friends, I am extremely envious, the Blue Tongue Margaret is just fantastic - your sons Pyhton Fluer, I have only my girl Izzy - oh also the under=water lizards - Mexican walking fish - they are so cool as well, I built a nice 10mm thick tank for them, I always go to the pet shops and buy the poor wee ones who have had their legs bitten off and bring them home - they grow them back - amazing.
Heres the only Lizard I come across - these guys are just awesome, in the Sun their scales glitter the most stunning golds and bronzes, just a fantastic we creature who I always take great delight in coming across, what I would do to get a beautiful example like Margaret!..any way my friend, here are the pics...

Take no notice of the big slimey Lizard with my dog lol, Izzys a delight in our lives - she takes a bit of looking after with her fragile bones - I am pretty sure there is a east wing of a house invested in surgeries!

Here is my wee friend I came across the other day - just gorgeous....

Here are a few of my wee guys, the new baby who has just grown her leg back is in the background......

Great pics folks :)

That's a beautiful-looking knife. I've been the recipient of Duncan's generosity in spades already, so not an entry please. Good luck everyone, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pics :)

What a great giveaway!

This is my best dog pal in the world, Bear:

And my other sweet dog Annie:

annie.jpg

Both are Border Collie mixes, Bear has Shetland Sheep Dog in him, and Annie, well...we don't know what she has in her, but she does have some herding traits, not as much as Bear though.

The couch that Annie is lying on, they ate it one day when we were at work. Cushions, fabric, you could see the frame when they were done. Borders must be kept busy or they will find something to do themselves. :D

Cheers,
Griff

Thanks for the shot at a neat little knife! This is my best friend tonka, he's a 6 year old pit/boxer mix. And if you look really close on the bottom left is my other best friend peeking out, Stella, she's a 4 year old pit.

Thanks for an awesome GAW. Very generous of you. Not an entry - no pets around here yet.
Thanks again. Love the pictures and good luck to everyone.

Wow that's an awesome giveaway, my first Robeson was that model, I stupidly traded it away for a OTF switchblade when I was in Houston visiting a friend back in the 80s in my early 20s.

Good luck to everyone who enters.

Again thanks and good luck to everyone.

The more I look at this knife the more I missed the one I seriously traded, if it's alright with the op I'd like to throw my name in the ring. It's such a gorgeous knife and I'd carry it and use it, if give it a nice home.

This was my puppy, Shauna, can't believe she died 5 years ago about this time of year, she was born on my daughter's 5th birthday and she made it 15 years.

A few more of Shauna with some of her friends and the bottom one is the Terri-Poo puppy Bailey we got before Shauna died.

Really nice GAW AR. Really nice looking Robeson:thumbup:
I'm in.
Here's my two favorite pets because I can't choose one over the other.
Hank, Black Lab/Jack Russell+(he's a rescue) and Sophie, AKC Chocolate Lab (she's not a rescue). It's hard to get a good pic of Sophie because she always has a stick in her mouth:D

Sophie the sweetheart, chewer.

What a great thread! I'm enjoying a look at everyone's furry (and not-so-furry) friends. :)
Not an entry, please... I've experienced Duncan's immeasurable generosity in the recent past, someone else's turn.
At the moment, I don't have any pet photos handy, but I'll post one when I get home this evening.
