Here's my old girl, Sadie. She's 11 years old and has been with me longer than I've known my wife. When my wife and I were dating, she asked me "What if I were allergic to dogs?" I said, "Well, I guess we'd have to wait until Sadie died before we got married." :) I was just kidding, sort of...good thing she isn't allergic to dogs! :)

Yep!

Just took her to the vet to have a cyst/tumor on her shoulder looked at. They said it could be cancer and want to remove it...makes me pretty sad. Hopefully it's nothing but at the same time I know they (or we) don't live forever.

Here's my two favorite pets because I can't choose one over the other.
Hank, Black Lab/Jack Russell+(he's a rescue) and Sophie, AKC Chocolate Lab (she's not a rescue). It's hard to get a good pic of Sophie because she always has a stick in her mouth:D

Excellent thread for a giveaway-this just in -Fleur took on a thawed quail that might have been a bit big this evening -well bigger than the ones shes used to. She struck,grabbed it off the tongs and dragged it into her cave only this time it didn't fit. Ryan tried to help her by moving it with his hand and she nailed him. Shoulda used the tongs.She has never bitten or showed aggression before but hey its dinner time in the snakes house.It amazing how a snake with a head the size of my thumb can actually gronk down a full size quail.
