I'm in thanks for the chance, I love seeing those older US made Schrades.

The traditional forum has been corrupting me, my love for traditionals are growing by the day. Now if I can just decide on one to get. I hope I am not the only one who loves the handles on those old schrades, it's been years since I held one but I still remember it quite well.

Thank you for the chance to win a beautiful knife. I was never into knives before 2.5 years ago. I met this guy who collected knives and made it a part of his life. We started a relationship with each other and he moved into my apartment. One day when I was off work I was watching tv and I noticed a knife on the table and started playing with it, ended up playing with it all day. When he came home I told him I loved this knife and I wanted it, and he lost it. It was a benchmade 940 and he was going to put it on bladeforum to trade or sale. I told him he was out of luck and it was now mine. He gave in and still bugs me about it but it is my favorite modern folder.

He has taught me so much about knives since then (and even got me onto bladeforum) and I love to look and see all the differences in brands, even inside each brand. I'm looking to get into traditional folders and see what I fall in love with.

I have a few older U.S.A. made Schrades and I really like them. I don't have this one...So please count me in.

I've recently come to really appreciate carbon steel. I don't have any Schrade knives and I would love to be able to compare their carbon to my carbon Opinels and Bokers when it comes to whittling. So you can rest assured it would be used. Thanks for the chance.

I don't usually get in, because I tend to look and learn more than post, so I only log in maybe a quarter of the time I'm on. I have a few knives, but don't think owning a few knives equates to having enough knowledge to do much more than read and learn. So, getting in on all the generous giveaways you go have would make me feel a little parasitic. But I just can't pass up the opportunity on this one. Thanks for the chance, Pipedreams308
