Post up a pic of a Becker in one of your favorite spots, and tell what you like about the place.
Just one photo post per person. After the thread has run a while, I'll pick a winner.
What will you win? Who knows? I don't even know yet. That's why it's a grab bag.
You'll likely need to be 18 though.

Edited to add:
Okay, I've decided to make this giveaway a pretty good one. I'm going to offer the winner a choice of the Original White Box Stove or the White Box Solo stove. The White Box Solo backpacking stove is one of my favorite little pieces of gear, and so I thought I'd share the love. I'm going to let this contest run for a while, hopefully to encourage folks on the fence to get a Becker and post up a pic of it. At the end of a few weeks, I'll figure out some way to determine a winner. I may get my wife to pic, or I may just do some random thingy.

Edited yet again: First, I post too much. :p Second, instead of my 29K Giveaway, I'm making this one my 30K Giveaway, and a winner will be chosen when I hit 30K. However, I'm going to sweeten the pot and add a few items here and there over the next week. Already, a survival whistle, some fatwood, a button compass, and a space blanket are going out as well. We'll see what else I can do in addition to those items and the stove. Get those pics posted!

Final Edit: Okay, we have winners! Finally.

I usually do some random number thing, but this time, I just asked my wife to pick her two favorites. So, the winners are...

1st Place: tradewater. My wife liked the "out of the box" thinking, and she said your spot looked like a place I'd enjoy myself as well. :D Send me some address information, and let me know which version of the White Box Stove you'd prefer. I'll get Bill winging one your way.

'nuff said.

Randy

2nd Place: GingivitisKahn. My wife just liked the picture and the place you chose. I've got some smaller survival items to get in the mail for you. Send me some address info.
I'll play. Here's my BK-9 overlooking the lake very close to one of my favorite hunting spots. I killed a fat doe a few thousand yards from this spot the day after thanksgiving this year. Last year, my son and daughter and one of their friends and I all spent a day or three hunting rabbits with our traditional archery gear (well my daughter took pics and the guys hunted).

Anyway - it's a pretty area with loads of good memories attached.

Sorry cell phone pics...

Last fall I discovered this cave on an Island that me and my now late cousin was going to explore next (this) year.. Look to the right you'll see the cave.

Here is the cave, this is on the other side of the island with dense forest, I will explore this this spring/summer or fall regardless..!!

This is a pic on that very island after I cut down a dead tree for fire wood with my BK7

Even though I've been to this lake over a dozen times I've never seen this Island, the only time my cousin came out with my family we spotted it, we didn't have time that day to explore but had talked about next year (this year).. My cousin suddenly died at 36yrs old on 12/30/10 he leaves 3 little ones behind and that really sux, at the moment this place is dear to the heart..

ETA: Didn't you just hit 28K like a month ago?? why you, you, you, you postmaster.....

this is my archery practice area. mr peckery there is a pain in my buttocks, he's far away, and hard to hit, and not all the time do my field points stick. the other model like him we can use broadheads on, but missing is a great way to ruin those, so... :)

it's a great spot, wide open, with water nearby, a tower, and almost completely unused, so it's always ready and waiting. peaceful and serene.

Yay for giveaways! 29K is a helluvalota posts!

Edit: Gonna snap a new pic soon....

Here is my beloved BK2 the first day I had gotten it and its first time splitting. The location is along the Willamette River just outside of Portland Oregon.... I love the spot along the river, it's calm, no one goes there but me, I can have a fire, camp, drink beer, and work on learning new wilderness skills.

This is my favorite place to go in the woods to unwind. Nice area with a creek and away from people.

I don't own a Becker (yet), but rather than photoshop-in one I don't own..

And that's an old sign (needs updating).

Though in my experience in observing the people that go there - guessing that a lot of the deaths can actually be attributed to drink, drugs, or just plain stupidity.

Nice hawk! I took mine to the belt sander all the way down to a strop. Overkill for a hatchet but sharp is fun.

Not much of a beauty shot of the surrounding area, but this is at my favorite local campsite. I discovered the secluded spot in this park two years ago and had since brought my wife(fiance' at the time) to the location. Her, having lived in the city her whole life, had never had any interest in the outdoors. She loves the spot and now begs me to take her camping and fishing all the time, which I do as often as I possible can. :)

This stump is right next to my treestand, as a young boy my dad and i had hunted here and i killed my first deer in the exact same spot this pic was taken

My favorite spot for my BK2 is right here.

Why? Cause I know it isn't out trying to knock up my Jeep. It isn't throwing it's weight around with the other knives, making them feel all inferior (which they are). With it there, I know that when there comes something that needs cut, chopped, split, or pummeled to death, I got it covered.

I love this knife.

Right in my back yard

This is my favorite spot because it's always there, ready an willing to accommodate me. And I can my girls out there to school 'em up easy too.

I had enuf juice in my camera this early morning to snap one shot. Got about 2-3" over night.

This is in the middle of a 1 square mile patch of woods behind my home. When I can't get away to somewhere more expansive then this is where you can find me. I've been coming here for the past 8 years now. Home away from home.
