Went out to a place I set jug/drop lines.

Once in a lifetime find. Buck unable to free himself.

I combine several interests\hobbies at the same time. Metal detecting, the woods and knives, camping etc. A symbiotic alliance. Why do I like this spot? It allows me to combine several interests at the same time. Trade sites are few and far between and quite hard to definitively locate. Saving relics from being washed away into the river is a social responsibility to history that I take seriously through documentation of the finds.

I had enuf juice in my camera this early morning to snap one shot. Got about 2-3" over night.

This is in the middle of a 1 square mile patch of woods behind my home. When I can't get away to somewhere more expansive then this is where you can find me. I've been coming here for the past 8 years now. Home away from home.

Add a few evergreens and this looks exactly like around here.

Here is me and my BK11 at one of my new favorite spots. Found it Geo-Caching, evidence seen here with me sporting my sweet bling. Large swamp area totally surrounded by beaver felled alders. Neat spot, lots of cool exploring spots and beaver dams.

I believe that the old boy tried a few positions up the tree and likely twisted his head back and forth.

One of my favorite places is my backyard, simply because I can get out there and be "in the woods" without having to have a whole bunch of time, or plan stuff, or anything else. I can just go out there and use sharp things and burn stuff.

My newly convexed Bk2 playing around the new house. Currently the fav spot for me and my family, my 3 year old boy loves anything loud, sharp and destructive . Im gutting the garage (MAN CAVE) and trimming back the fruit trees.
