Winners chosen.

I really want to thank everybody for entering my giveaway, I know this wasn't a GEC which would get a couple hundred entries in an hour, but I'm happy to have seen 20 entries.
I wanted to do something a little special to give back to this great place, and 20 entries was enough to make my effort worthwhile.

Sorry for late reply, friends. I was out of state to assist at a horse auction and bring animals back to Colorado. The lovely giveaway arrived while I was travelling. I then fell to a respiratory infection (OK, the common cold, but with my lungs and chronic cough, I have been down). So, a HUGE thanks to Hickory n steel Hickory n steel for this terrific giveaway. Second place? Sheesh, this is a terrific pocket organizer and I have not yet begun to explore all the goodies I can put in this thing.

The Good: Lots of storage for small things that would normally get lost in one's pockets or a satchel/backpack. The outside pockets are great for cards you might need to fetch regularly like business cards, a bus pass, or a keycard. Two narrow pockets on the back side are now holding a sharpening plate and a compact Boker. The inside pockets are also card-sized, but there are two little pockets that would be perfect for holding SIM cards. Hickory n steel Hickory n steel put a small titanium prybar in there; I look forward to seeing that thing do some work (it's on my dresser at the moment). Along with the organizer, he also included a brand new Buck 302 Solitaire. Perfect compact pocketknife that every Porch member should get some time with. Also included was a small (like tiny) brass screw-top capsule container. I look forward to finding useful things that might fit in it. Inside the little capsule is an even smaller brass item that looks like a little spinning top. This thing is a mystery I must solve. Ah, yes, the Rite-in-the-Rain notepad is a must-have along with my Fisher Space Pen. That pen got lost in my pocket all the time but now it has a home!

The Bad: Upon opening this amazingly well-padded package, my wife said the Buck was cute and that I have too many knives. The Solitaire now lives in her pocket. I did not even get it for the pics below. But it is not sitting idle: She has already used it to open boxes and prune in the garden. Someday, I'll get to try it out.

The Ugly: Nothing!! Beautiful friendship and comradery flourish on The Bladeforums traditional porch and I will do my part to pay it back and keep it that way.

Thanks, Hickory n steel Hickory n steel !

Fyi the pry bar is steel, but otherwise should prove just as useful regardless.

Btw did you try spinning that little brass item I made you ?
If it spins then it's a top, if it doesn't then I failed.
It's not the smallest I've made ( I may have unofficially broken the world record with one that I made ), but it's still fairly small.
I made the little brass capsule to keep it in because it's so small, but you might be able to fit a single aspirin in it or something.

Awesome!!! Yes, I DID spin it and it DOES SPIN! In fact, it will spin to the point it overturns and spins on the spindle. But then I thought, "Nah, this is some esoteric bushcraft technology I haven't seen yet, something even Felix Immler is keeping in reserve!" My wife tried it and said, "It makes a great top!" So now we know 😄. That you made both of them is the best part of all, though! I think I'll put my Swiss bank account number in there and implant it like Jason Bourne. Unlike Bourne's, my account will be empty, but when I get to Zurich I'll have a top to spin.

I'm actually glad the pry bar is steel because if I lose it in the barn I might need the big magnet-on-a-stick to find it.

Again, thanks!!

I'm very glad you like the organizer, it is quite a well thought out design
I'm especially glad that the knife found a new home, it's not brand new but I didn't use it much.
I really wanted to love that knife and it's definitely got a lot to like about it, but for some reason I just didn't fall in love with it.
I can't count how many Bucks I've given away that were absolutely loved by those that received them, they just make some great no nonsense knives that even a non knife person will appreciate as a good cutting tool.

As far as the little brass top goes, I thought about going smaller but figured that size was big enough to see and recognize as a top .

I sent one like this to somebody, and they instantly lost the little thing not even knowing it was there.
